What is Carbon Crystal Plates?

"Carbon Crystal Plates" is scientifically known as "Bamboo Charcoal Co-Extruded Decorative Panel" or "Bamboo Charcoal Board". It is a type of wood-plastic board made using high-temperature extrusion technology, with raw materials including bamboo charcoal powder, calcium powder, PVC, and additives. The extruded sheet has hard co-extruded layers on both sides, providing excellent hardness.

Structure of Carbon Crystal Plates:

The first layer is a protective layer, which is a transparent protective film made of PVC material.

The second layer is the surface film layer, which uses special water-based PVC film, PP scratch-resistant film, and PET-G high-gloss film. These films come in various colors and textures, with exquisite and realistic patterns.

The third and seventh layers are light-curing layers, which mainly function to better bond the carbon crystal plate with the film.

The fourth and sixth layers are PP co-extruded protective layers, which protect the board from deformation and prevent the film from being transparent at the bottom.

The fifth layer is the carbon crystal layer, made by high-temperature extrusion of bamboo charcoal powder, resin, and polymers. This layer has a stable six-sided honeycomb molecular structure, excluding triangles.

Features of Carbon Crystal Plates

Carbon crystal board is an upgraded functional board based on ordinary wood veneer boards. In addition to superior environmental friendliness compared to the original wood veneer boards, it also has higher wear resistance, better impact resistance, and more advanced decorative properties.

a. Rich Surface Colors, Strong Decorative Effect, Wide Application

Carbon crystal board is produced using a double-sided co-extrusion process and the substrate is covered with wood grain, fabric texture, plain color, stone texture, metal (metal brushed), glass, skin feel, and other patterned films using PUR hot melt adhesive technology. The rich and varied designs can meet the decorative needs of different styles in home and commercial spaces.

b. Short Customization Period, Convenient Installation, High Cost-Effectiveness

Compared to traditional wood veneer, the customization period of carbon crystal board is shorter, generally around 3-7 days. It uses a snap-together structure, allowing for modular installation, quick construction, easy installation, and short construction periods. It is an excellent choice for commercial spaces that require short renovation times.

c. Strong Stain Resistance, Durable and Scratch-Resistant, Moisture-Proof and Flame-Retardant

Carbon crystal board has high hardness and wear resistance, making it not easily scratched or worn out. Its smooth surface does not easily attract dirt and has certain waterproof properties, making it easy to clean and maintain, thus maintaining long-lasting aesthetics.

d. Can Be Slotted and Bent, Achieving Various Unique Shapes

Carbon crystal board can be freely cut and adjusted in height and width. It can be slotted and bent on-site, allowing for the wrapping of corners and columns and achieving various unique shapes.

Construction Process of Carbon Crystal Plates

The construction process of carbon crystal board is simple, primarily focusing on the joints between boards and the closure of internal and external corners.

Closure Methods

1) The joints between large boards can be connected through back slotting with forms such as soil slot, tenon-and-mortise slot, and combined metal profiles.

2) Internal and external corner treatments can be done using profile closure strips, curved bending, and right-angle bending.

2. Construction Process Flow:

1) Wall Surface Treatment Use plywood or wood strips (studs) for leveling the base. When using wood strips (studs) for leveling, ensure the distance between the strips is not too large.

2) Installation of Carbon Crystal Board Apply structural adhesive to the back of the carbon crystal board. The adhesive should be applied as vertical and horizontal lines around the edges of the board, with a thickness of about 1 cm.

3) Wall Surface Treatment Use a level to ensure the edges of the board are parallel to the level line. If not parallel, adjust the board and use a rubber hammer to evenly tap the carbon crystal board until it adheres closely to the wall.

4) Embed Metal H-Beam Once the first board is fixed, embed a metal H-beam on the side of the board and fix it with F25 straight nails. Install the second board in sequence. If the carbon crystal board has been pre-slotted with tenon-and-mortise joints, direct assembly can be done without the need for metal closure strips.
