Project Background：
DUGAO COFFEE, referred to as DG , is located on the roadside of the Yangtze River in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. It is an indoor and outdoor amphibious coffee shop. The cafe occupies an area of more than 200 square meters, and the indoor and outdoor floors are made of herringbone pattern flooring produced by Zhenjiang Zhengjun Flooring.
Challenges of the project:
The owner of DUGAO COFFEE wanted to create a comfortable and stylish coffee space that would attract customers to enjoy coffee and beautiful views. The café is located by the Yangtze River, so the floor needed to have good water resistance and wear resistance to withstand the effects of wind, sun and high customer traffic.

A：How did you start DUGAO Café?
I have always loved coffee, traveling and camping. During a trip, I found that many cities have many specialty coffee shops that are loved by locals. I came up with the idea of opening a coffee shop. The original intention of my choice to set up an outdoor camping coffee shop is to provide a place for people who have been busy working all day to relax and enjoy life.
A：Why did you choose Changjiang Road?
Changjiang Road is the most beautiful road in Zhenjiang. Our coffee shop is located in Chunjiangchao Square, opposite to Xijindu Scenic Area. Here you can lean on the railing to enjoy the river breeze, and you can see the most beautiful sunset in Zhenjiang on summer nights. At night, Xijindu opposite is also a scene of lights on, which is very charming.
A:I noticed that your cafe uses herringbone flooring both inside and outside. Why did you choose this type of flooring?
